I felt like my life was overjoyed a few weeks ago. I never thought that moment would happen when seeing someone that helped direct you to this art upon the stage can impact you more than ever. His interaction with his audience was one long to cherish, his need to be with the people as one was cherished, his need to stop and talk was cherished, and at some point I felt like he just wanted to be one of us. In most cases people would have probably had wanted to see him doing poetry funny thing is I appreciate him as an artist I understand his need to speak and many times for as an artist to be limitless is where we should all be. He said to travel see the world speak to someone in a different language a different land in that to me was about me finding the wholeness in my journey. I don’t know maybe this is that for filled a moment where his words were not just to be spoken but to be heard and for me I hear down the question becomes when will I act on these actions instead of taking them as a passive moment because again how I’m I supposed to be if I cannot for fill my own destiny. Continued Beginnings
oLast night was an amazing night as i watch a dream unfold The Collective Mic Arts Cafe birthed from the vision and drive of its creators Tiffani”La Dive” Dean and Jody”True Story” Austin. It was a gathering i am blessed with its wait as many of the Collective family and us that are extension of that came out to show our support to the birth of a creative space made 
to bring in artistic creativity of all kinds.With walls laid out with some of the brightest talents the city has to offer. with walls that contained a story within themselves the artistry was speaking in its own tongue as pieces from Giovanni aka Lyrical Thought,Cierra F,Way LaMatrix,Kamau MShele, Alicia Adanna Amira Jenna and MyDeraSpeakMeFree were on display and feature painter Giovanni and Cierra amazed us with there collaborative on set strokes of work that showed us all that when a woman hand speaks you better listen. The open mic was a blaze as artist came out to let loose old and new works of flowmenship that oozed from lips and allowed us to breath new air of words for a first time. But when it came to giving the mic what it needed, the crowed was fixed on the lyrical wordsmith Shyst giving a story that can only be told through rapid insertion and power that he possesses.
When the mic closed the night was far from over as Dj Mitch let the party people get something funky to mingle too as they feed on finger foods and libations that relaxed the night as it was meant too. In the end the Collective has shown all that as artist the time has come for forward progress as black business owners and a place for arts in neighborhoods that deserve to be brought back to life within a continued beginning that will go on for ever…
Memorable night with an icon
Yesterday was a good day as Temple University hosted a sit down with playwright/poet and author Ntzaka Shang and Oz Scott about the creation of For Colored Girls the stage play. It was very inspirational and warming as you hear the story and understood the joy in making it. Producer/ director Lee Richardson was the host and poet/playwright professor Tamikka Williams presented her with a plaque from the mayor to celebrate the 40 year anniversary of the play.

Inspiration
As ordinary as we are as people we never know how inspirational we can be to others. This young lady here has been an inspiration to me since I’ve known her a writer a philosopher and a fighter a poet a craftsman a parent using the power within to be her strength where in most situations people would fold. She always contains a smile and a word of encouragement even when the day seems as if it will show nothing but gloom. She is strength and continues to go above and beyond in her journey and for these reasons I celebrate your inspiration today. Forgotten Humbles
So I’ve been listening to “How Much a Dollar Cost” by Kendrick Lamar for over two weeks and my mind keeps going through states of images and seeing Reef the Lost Cauze with equal material. The understanding of what we see and do to one another for money and shun those without has a lot to say about us as humans. We spend so much time fighting to survive that the sight of the world becomes shark infested and we become blind to what we say and do because the story often takes moments back to it being about I but is it really….
Another Week of Work
Yesterday was a great day as cast members came in ready for rehearsal. For many of the cast members it’s all about reintroducing themselves too the material. For many that reintroduction to the script involved learning how to focus and become the character once again as well as taking ques from others and being back into consistency concerning the flow of scenes between actors.
The Step Up

In most cases, an actors job is to make unbelievable believable and although this may be for a scene it is also in the interaction between another actor this becomes important as well. Most of this is in understanding what he or she is bringing to the table within their performance that helps the next to step up when it’s his or her turn on the stage too. With daily rehearsal and communication it becomes helpful to an actor in building chemistry within each pass as well as in the performance its self.

It is in these actions where most actors utilize the understanding and allow it to make its way into a scene to make people think while seeing a reason too laugh as well. As actors it is there job to bring you into those moments and see all the humor abnormality and seriousness of not only the actions but what they may be saying that is made to be a moment called tragic comedy. So now you walk away smile or laugh but here is the big part did you get the message?
New year new brew
Happy 2015 everyone and as it pushes forward Run Boy Run Production is moving at a pace to keep up with the changes. As you all know the modem ears of RBRPROD are involved in many different fields of arts and entertainment. With members Terrance Jones forming DDG as they assist in reinventing artist in Philadelphia and helping them to get to that next level and Brittany Mckeithan acting in film and Loreal Wynn utilizing her time forming Will2Wynn non profit organization and Tyrone Harrison taking his InFlight to another level beyond visuals of a camera,each member are doing whats necessary to bring 2015 a different element.
